Need help getting PIP to work

We have the Phillips Flat Screen and I cant seem to get the PIP to work. Clarification: I can get it to work if I want to watch a movie (from dvd, vcr) and a tv channel. But I cannot get 2 different tv channels to appear. It always says "No Source" on the pip screen. I tried looking in my manual but it was no help. I do not have a cable box. I just have the wire from the wall connected to the tv. Is this the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

You don't have a problem except you need two tuners. You say you have a VCR, which this has a tuner. Set your VCR to TV and and start the PIP and choose your VCR as the second source. You will now be watching two different channels, one from the TV tuner and one from the VCR tuner. Also just to clarify, you should have the cable wire from the wall running to the INPUT on the VCR and then a cable running from the OUTPUT on the VCR to your TV to make this all work correctly.

I have a sony bravia 32`` and i have pip on my tv but i cant selectionate that what i need to do?

picture in picture means you will need a second input for PIP to work. For example you are watching a movie on a dvd player thru the bravia if your antenna is also connected that becomes your second input. Therefore when you select PIP a small screen will appear and you will be able to see the channel that was last set on that screen... hope this helps

Pip

I know that on my Protron the pip does not work for different TV channels, only for vcr or dvd. I can get pip from those sources.

Cant turn off panasonic PIP

To turn off the "stuck" pip on a Panasonic tv without a remote, turn off the tv. Then hold down the "Action" button on the front of the tv and press the power button. This will activate a reset and self check of the systems and voila! The pesky pip screen will be gone! This is on an approximately 10 year old regular crt "CT-xxxxx" series tv.

Pltv-4250 pip & pbp issue

yes, PIP allows you to view 2 channels at one, one being the analogue picture another being a cable/freeview or sattelite picture, if you only use one of these to view programmes, you will se a blank screen.
