A channel disapeared

U have the tv original remote wright?U are receiving and getting a Antena tv signal from free AIR DTV broadcasting channels?Yes,search ur tv remote for a button that said CC pushes that button a couple times make sure all functions like CC1,2,3.. to all off.If remote have no CC button,go into the tv menu look for Closed Captioning and Text like 1,2,3.. turn it all to off.The tv program Closed Captioning text on the screen will disapear.If ur are using Cable,Telicom,or satalite pay signals used their remotes.

There are several items that might appear on the screen when you press the TV or INFO button on the remote control. One amoung the is SAP.

SAP is dispayed when the current channel is broadcasting SAP [Second Audio Program].

Second Audio Program is one whcih the current channel tranmits an other language too with this programme, that if you wants to choose it. For example if you are hearing the audio in English language, there is an additional language also trnsmitting with this programme, which may be in French, Sweedish and so on. Ok.

A search of prince channel site for 735 timer sent me to the 740 timer >> their other models wer 755 and 840

The timer is a multi-channel countdown timer which means it can control multiple electrical devices separate from each other
Set the french fry cooker to tun on for 5 minutes
Set the dryer to come on for 10 minutes
Set the blower to come on for 1 hour
Set each item for different lengths of time
The item with least amount of time left shows on the screen

To program timer
Press and hold Prince Castle logo for six seconds
Time displays will change from " ----" to "PROG"

Press timer channel to be programmed
LED indicator light will turn yellow and beep will sound

Current programmed time will display (for example it might show 5 minutes 20 seconds)
Time value will indicate either H:M (hours-minutes) or M:S (minutes-second)

Press SCAN/UP arrow or SCAN/DOWN arrow to change program time
These arrows are located next to Prince Castle logo

If you want H:M instead of M:S, then press and hold SCAN/UP button
When display reaches 59:59 it will automatically change to 1:00 Hour
LED indicator light switches from M:S to H:M

Now you programmed first channel, click next channel and repeat steps above

To FINISH programming, press Prince Castle logo for a moment, and programs are saved

With the channel display showing 000.0000 you may be able to program a new frequency into it, and the new program will release the lockout. Have you tried the normal programming for any channels?

u can learn french or change the values of the eeprom memory

sounds like the closed caption is set to text mode . try turning off or setting the CC to off or CC1

Hey thanks for the feed back . The only other suggestion i have would be the tuning section is not locking in. The tuner could be your problem or there are coils such as AGC or IF could be drifting not allowing the channels to lock in . This would not be a simple fix as you would have to locate what is failling with a schematic to track it down . I would guess the coils first or something as a resistor feeding them has changed value . The tuner would be my last guess . You might want to call around to find a shop that knows this set , as some places might just start trying parts and end up being to costly to get repaired . Good luck and let me know what you find out .

Do you mean the channels from the internal tuner which would be channels 22 to 68, or do you mean satelite channels, as I do not know whether this set has a built in satelite receiver? Satelite broadcasters are often changing frequencies or satelites.- Programs come and go!

Your gonna need the original remote and press the display button. If the channel dosent go away theres a problem with the OSD(on screen display) IC, and is gonna need to be serviced by a pro. There are no serviceable parts inside these sets. Sorry I couldnt assist you more in this problem.
