Maytag floods when it drains

I have a maytag model # MAV408DAWN. Water spills out from the pipe in the wall when the water drains from the machine into the pipe in the wall. I have had several plumbers and the maytag repair people out, but have not found a solution. The plumbers say the pipe is the right size (2 inches in diameter) and there is no blockage, and that the problem lies with the machine -- the machine empties too quickly and overwhelms the pipe. Of course, the maytag people say it is not the machine, but that it is the plumbing. This has been going on for two years and is driving me CRAZY, not to mention ruiuning our wall and floor in the laundry room. Please help!

Thanks!

If the flooding is from hose and joint in the drain system, or from the drain pump, then it is the machine.

If instead, as it looks, it is a return from the drain pipes on the wall, then the problem concerns your house drain line, in that case it is a plumber job.

Ensure that the leak is not from inside the machine, if it is not anything from the machine, then call the plumber.

The pipes froze and busted in my garage which cause water to burst in my Maytag Neptune front loader washer Now the water won't drain Please help

That machine has an electric water pump, The first thing I must ask is has it completely thawed out? There is a rubber hose that goes from the tub to the pump, if the water in the hose is still frozen in the hose or in the drain hose, it will not empty itself. Also the water water level switch is in the top of that hose. Another possibility, is the pump or the water level switch could be damaged. You can access the pump by taking the front panel off. That is not hard to do, requires removal of the door and a couple of other screws.

Maytag Atlantis washer drain hose is over flowing during rinse cycle

It probably has some coins stuck in the pump or a kink in the hose. If the washing machine won't drain, remove the access panel, and follow drain hose into machine and to the pump. You will need something to catch the water. Take pliers and sqeeze clamp and slide away from pump. Pull hose off and drain water. Remove coins from pump inlet and reassemble. If it is overflowing where it drains into the wall, you will need a pipe snake or a plummer.

My maytag washer is not holding the water and it drains it before it washes. I tried it at different water levels and it kept on draining the water every time I start it.

Check and make sure your drain from the washer is not pushed to far down in to the WALL DRAIN PIPE Because if it is the water will SIPHON out faster than you can fill.. Pipe should only be down about 6 inches in to drain and secured... Hope this Helps

Waste drain does not take in water, spills out.

Replace the clogged drain pipe. You need a plumber. Washer is ok.

Maytag legacy series washer not holding water

Same problem here. But according to Maytag Service, the draining pipe may be too deep inside the draining tube on the wall, thus creating a siphon effect and not allowing the tub to fill.
Their suggestion is to ckeck the pipe and make sure no more than 6-8 inches are inside the draining pipe. This should take care of the suction. We'll see, Imma do that when I get home.
