Hi, I re-installed Business Plan Pro 15th Edition on a new 64bit laptop and now my plans from my 32bit programs won't open. I got a message saying this type of file cannot immediately be opened, and then I'm sent to a conversion website for the software provider but the file isn't being recognized. How can I fix this? You can also obtain a copy of the form by clicking Anthem Medicare Advantage enrollment form.

Beginning with the release of Microsoft Windows Vista, 64-bit operating systems are slowly becoming extremely prevalent in today's market. 64-bit operating systems are poised to eventually replace 32-bit operating systems entirely. At the present however, 32-bit applications still vastly outnumber 64-bit applications. Luckily, 64-bit operating systems are capable of running 32-bit operating systems. In 64-bit operating systems, 32-bit applications are installed to a second program files folder, named "Program Files (x86)." Programs installed in the x86 folder can be initialized just like programs installed in the regular Program Files folder.

Open the 32-bit programs folder. Go to Start > Computer > Local Disk (C:), then click on "Program Files (x86)." Open the desired program folder. The executable file for the program will be located inside the folder. Double-click on the file with the ".exe" file extension. As an example, for the QuickTime program you would double-click on the "QuickTimePlayer.exe" file. You have now successfully run a 32-bit application in your 64-bit operating system. x86 means 32bit operating system , x64 means 64bit operating system.Windows is divided into to categories 32 and 64 bit. In your case you might be trying to install 32bit operating system's software or a application in an 64bit operating system running machine. If you are getting the above mention error message than it is clear that your window 7 is 64bit operating system and a 64bit operating system doesn't support 32 bit's software. You only can install software or application you are meant for 64bit supporting.

Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) The latest version of Business Plan Pro 11.0 will install and run in Windows XP with Service Pack 3 (SP3).
If you're installing the software from a CD, you may not have the latest version and could encounter a message during the installation that indicates you need Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed. Downloading the latest installer from our website will resolve that problem.
Resolution
Take the following steps to download the latest installer and use it to install our software:

1. Click the link below to go to the Software Download page of our website:

2. Enter your Business Plan Pro 11.0 serial number and the email address you use for registrations, then click Go
3. Accept the License Agreement and click the "Continue to Downloads" button.
4. Once you reach the downloads page, you should be prompted to either Open or Save the installer file. Choose to Save this file to the Desktop of the computer.
5. Once the download completes, choose to Open or Run the file to install the latest version of the software on your computer.

you can downgrade to 32bit. you would have to reinstall windows using a 32bit cd. i would recommend it you wont see much of a difference. all programs where originally made for 32 bit. the only difference between the two is that 64bit supports more ram. like xp pro; 32bit will recognize 3.25gb as ram even if you have 4gb installed but other than that not much difference. personally i dont like any 64bit systems nor vista... but with 32bit you will be able to run a wider range of programs with no problem
