Dishwasher Reset / Diagnostics

The cleaning light on my KitchenAid Superba Dishwasher KUDS01FLSS6 is blinking and the dishwasher will not operate. I have been told I have to run a diagnostic which will reset the unit or identify the heating element is bad.

Do you know how to run the diagnostic / Reset?

Unscrew and remove the kickplate at the very bottom of the dishwasher. The tech sheet with the diagnostic code should be attached to the back of it.  If not, due a websearch and you should be able to find the info on yahoo or google.

Clean led keeps blinking.
salvy, look for the lock symbol, it should be on the heated dry pad. Press and hold it until the lock led turns off. Catriver..post back.
