How do I perform a soft reset on my SHARP R270S microwave? When I push Start and Clock, the display shows 1303

Most microwave ovens now use a similar method for setting the time on the front. Many different kitchen counter appliances like microwave ovens are made by the same manufacturers and sold under different brand names or with similar parts and designs. Microwaves, coffee makers, air fryers, convection ovens and even some toaster ovens have clocks on them these days and trying to set all the clocks during Daylight Saving Time can be a hassle. Fortunately, most of these kitchen appliances have adopted a general method for changing and setting the time: The Clock Button! If your device has a Clock button you typically only have to hit it once or hold it in, either type in the new time or advance up or down to the new time on the display, and then press the Clock or Start button to save your changes and get your out of "time changing" mode. Many other small appliances are following this same methodology. It's quick and easy!

Hi, I have Sharp SPC 182 clock, which is not turning on..just a flickering display with beep keeps coming when plugged in..

If the display is flickering I would consider it being a bad main circuit board. If it just keeps beeping when power applied could be a bad touch pad too. Unplagging the pad and reapplying power and see if it beeps with the pad unplugged that would tell you if is the board. If it still beeps with the pad unplugged it is a bad board. It may be thinking your standing there pushing a pad. Either get both or replace the unit. Prices have come down drastically. Encompass parts was selling parts for those, sorry I do not currently have their number.

How to set clock on sharp microwave

normally you look for the clock ot watch icon. Pressing it once will give you the option for 24 hours setting. Press it twice and it will give you the opportunity to set to 12 hours setting. Using the no. keypad, punch in the time and then repress the clock icon again.

The clock works & counts down but the microwave won't heat

  • Disconnect the power for 30 seconds. After restoring power, do not set the clock.
  • If your model has an ON/OFF clock display, you can choose not to have the time displayed. To choose this option, press the 0 pad for about three seconds. To Turn the display back on, press the 0 again.

Touch the clock pad. Enter in the correct time of day by touching the numbers in sequence. Touch the clock pad again.

No numbered touch pad for use setting clock

I think on this one you press the CLOCK/TIMER pad, then enter the desired time using the 10 MINUTES, 1 MINUTE, AND 15 SECONDS pads then press CLOCK/TIMER again.

If that doesn;t work, press STOP / CLEAR then try the above again.

Let us know if it does not work.

Setting the time on Sharp microovens.

Normally it's
Clock > time numbers > Clock
or
Clock > time numbers > Start

Sometimes it's
Clock > (1 or 2) > time numbers > Clock
or
Clock > (1 or 2) > time numbers > Start

If this doesn't work, please reply back with your model number.
