There is one software is available which I have used to recover both PST and OST files on Outlook. It will support file format and hence using this tool I was able to repair PST file Outlook 2003. So, you can check it using trial version of the software.

Before attaching the MDB file to the email - send it to a compressed folder. Right click the MDB file and choose "send to" -> Compressed folder. Then you can drag and drop the compressed folder to the email - which should show as a zip file. this is a compressed file which "should" email without any issues.

Try zipping the file before you send it. I think Outlook has spotted that your trying to send a database file and is blocking it. When you zip it, outlook might not be able to peer through the zip file to see. I know it works on older versions of Outlook.
You can use the inbuilt Microsoft "Compressed Folder" zip tool, just right click on the file within windows and select "Send To -> Compressed "Zipped" Folder"
Or you could try 7zip, which is an excellent free zip utility

The .MSI file is either on the install CD or hidden in the temp files folder, what you have to do is perform a search of hidden files and folders for the installer file, once you have found it direct the install path to where the .MSI file is and carry on your install

look inside the file you downloaded there may be a read me... or you
may have to buy the key from Microsoft... it was a "free download" not a free
program. There is a differance.
