Any way to program my sanyo ds25830 without the remote

Your TV must be set in cable mode for channels higher than 69, and your cable provider must allow those channels to be received without a cable box. Menu, Channels, switch air to cable, run auto scan. If it receiving those channels unencrypted, it will find those channels.

Your sanyo TV has no menu button on its front panel control. Without its original remote, it is immpossible to get ito its AUX. OK.

If it has a MENU button, press it and use the volume up and down to manipulate the choices, press menu again when you get to channel setup. you want AIR if using off air or Cable for cable. Next screen should say start and press menu again, the channels will start to cycle. If htat doesnt do it, you have a new model than the one I just did tonight. OneForall remotes will probably not have the setup button you need to autoprogram. Best bet is to find a Sanyo made universal remote or other Sanyo remote on Ebay as alot of the buttons are proprietary to manufacturer. Some TV's are useless without their own remote if not on a external tuner (cable SAT or digital)

you have to go into the tv menue, under set-up, go to chanels, or auto program, and autoprogram yout tv , will solce your problem

There is a button under the bottom edge of the screen (with the controls) that has the options "Normal" and "CATV" - press this and it should solve your problem.

Found a part number for this old set 6100484603 Found it at www.vancebaldwin.com but it shows as not avalible for 6 to 9 days, with a set this old you may not be able to get this remote

Not sure, but have you tried getting a universal remote and programming it with a sanyo code? If this is not an option you can get MFR. remotes on ebay, but they might be costly. I went to ebay and did a search on "DS27930". I found one seller, but there was a least one. $34.95 for a remote sounds high to me.

sanyo ds35590 no remote, tried universial remote still cannot select menu on uvm. What remote do I need? Or can I get into the menu without remote. I am trying to watch a dvd.

did you ever fix the problem if so I would like to know how cause it don't look like anyone has helped you and I would like to know if the dvd can be hooked up to this tv?
