How do I configure F key for sleep mode?

To configure the F key on your keyboard to put your computer into sleep mode, you will need to access the BIOS settings on your computer. Here's how to do it:
  1. Restart your computer and as it starts up, press the key that opens the BIOS settings (usually the "Delete" key, the "F2" key, or the "F10" key).
  2. Once in the BIOS settings, navigate to the "Power Management" or "Power" section.
  3. In the Power Management or Power section, look for an option that allows you to configure the function keys. This option may be called "Function Key Behavior" or something similar.
  4. Set the option for the F key you want to use for sleep mode to "Sleep" or "Suspend" (the exact wording may vary depending on your BIOS).
  5. Save your changes and exit the BIOS settings.
Now, when you press the F key that you configured for sleep mode, your computer should go into sleep mode. Keep in mind that the exact steps to configure the function keys in the BIOS may vary depending on your computer's make and model.

I turn off the sleep function but still goes to sleep. How do I fix this?

Tom where did you change the settings to disable the sleep function?
If you changed the monitor settings then it could be the operating system causing it to sleep

Sleep function

Usually pressing the power button once will wake a computer from sleep. Often all that is needed is a mouse movement or hitting the enter key. If your are in Hibernation mode as opposed to sleep mode
The key stroke(s) needed will be in the Power Settings section of control panel.

Turn off snooze function

I'm a bit confused by your terminology, "snooze" function? We are talking about a Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook A Series Laptop, Correct? If your referring to the Sleep or Hibernate settings, Open the Control Panel, select Power Options, you didn't post your OS, so here's a Win 7 solution, set to High Performance, select Change Plan settings, under Plugged in, set Display time and set Sleep to Never, select Change Advanced power settings, go through the settings one by one set to your preference. Sleep and Hibernate to Never.

Does this tv has sleep time fuction

Yes, it DOES have a sleep function. Every 10 minutes up to 3 hours. If you set runs for more than 3 hours at a time before you get the message, it is NOT the sleep function.

What is the lowest setting for night time use of split aircon unit. Is it sleep function?

Sleep function is really not a temperature control. It simply powers down the unit, like the Sleep Mode on a computer. Your comfort level, is what would determine what temperature you want to set it on.

How do I set the sleep timer for GE universal remote RC24991

Usually you check for the sleep button on your remote controller. Press the button and the sleep function comes on. Pressing it again adds about 5 to 10 minutes to your time for the sleep function to come into effect.
After the time has gotten to its highest the cycle goes off and satrts again.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Set the sleep function

I had to go through every one of the menu settings to find the sleep function.  Your manuals leave a LOT to be desired.  The index is almost useless. Functions such as this should be in the index.     A few examples to show the general way of setting functions should be in the manual.  Or show the flow charts to get to a setting. Not a happy camper, Sandy

Sleep Function???

In most cases you can set the sleep timer by accessing the menu. Or if it is a learning remote find a button you dont use and teach it the sleep button from your OEM remote.
