Generally no, this means that the connections from the edge of the lcd are failing.

Have you tried changing the aspect ratio? On your remote there should be a button labled aspect. Otherwise you'll need to access the service menu and change the vertical height and horizontal width.

Look for "buttons" on the bottom-front or bottom-edge of the monitor.

One button will activate the OSD ("On Screen Display). Through the OSD, you can change the "vertical size" and "vertical position" of the display.

The vertical IC needs to be replaced. You can get new Vertical output ICs at www.tvrepairworld.com and they will also help explain where its located.

Try to change the horizontal sensitivity and vertical sensitivity of the trackball to 100%,to do this follow the below mentioned steps
1)press menu
2)select option icon
3)scroll down and select screen/keyboard option
4)select horizontal sensitivity and change it to 100%
5) select vertical sensitivity and change to 100%
6) press menu button and select save

Replace your STK ICs and look for Bad capacitor by vertical IC 100uf 35v.
