Port LEDs keep flashing in sequence.

Nothing is plugged into the rear ports. It has power only. It just keeps flashing the ports LEDs in sequence.

  • Anonymous Nov 06, 2012

The flashing LEDs continuously cycles regardless if anything is connected to it.

I know its not working. I need to know what the core problem is that is causing the switch to act this way.

It looks like the ethernet switch is faulty.

I appreciate the help, but I already new the switch wasn't working. I was trying to find out what specifically was broke in the switch.

Powerline spikes caused be lighten could have damaged your switch. Do you have a surge protection powerboard and do you connect all your computer equipment to this surge protection powerboard?

Just inherited a B&D lawnhog electric 19" mower. Can't find how to charge it or where the cord should go. Didn't even have a cord. Please help

At the rear top of the motor housing right where the clippings bag attaches is a rectangular "key" about four inches long and one inch wide with a prominent B&D label which plugs into the top of the motor housing. It is a safety interlock which hides the charging port and a couple of LEDs which show the charging status. Pull it straight up and out, and you will see the port and LEDs from the rear of the mower. You need a dedicated charger which has three prongs and fitted plugs. Nothing else will work.

Batteries are charged, I have checked wire plugs and all are fine, but I have no power at the on-off control. Is there a fuse block, a circuit breaker, or a reset button unseen under the rear lid?

Jerry to make sure you don't have power to the joystick get a digital voltmeter set it to 200 volts dc and plug the leads into the two outter holes of the charger port under the front of the joystick. Fully charged you should read 25-27 volts If you are getting a good voltage then the problem could be in the on/off switch on the joystick. There is a fuse located under the rear shroud somewhere near the power module in line with the cable coming from the on-board charger. If your voltage is real low then you have battery or charger problem. If you plug the charger in and keeping the meter plugged into the charger port you should read 27-34 volts indicating the charger is working and the problem could be the batteries. Try turning the on/off switch on with the charger plugged in the power should come on and flash indicating charge inhibit is working. If you still get nothing check your cable coming from the rear of the chair make sure its fully seated in the plug. Thats all I've got Hope this helps

HP Pavilion zv6000: USB ports are inop. USB port on rear of computer works fine. USB port on left/front will power my flash drive, but the light stays on constantly. The flash drive is does NOT show up in...

After reading the description, I think you need to try updating BIOS and latest device drivers for USB. Because USB are getting power on that means there would not be any fault to from the motherboard.

So please try updating latest BIOS for your notebook.
If you can provide me the product no for your notebook and the operating system which you are using currently then I can find the one for you.

Otherwise you can also do the same.

Type in the product no. on www.hp.com. Then go to software and driver download page, select the proper OS and search in BIOS ROM pack available for your notebook.

I hope this will help.

Help!

Seems that the battery is low on power, when the controller is connected to the usb port of the ps3, all leds should start flashing, this show that the battery of the controller is recharging, when done the leds go off.
Note that before the leds start flashing that it can thake up an minute before it starts doing that.
Keep your ps3 on to recharge the controller.

Succes.

Lp w1952tq goes into power saving mode

one some laptops you need to enable the video/vga port (where you plug the monitor in). On a Dell, you'd press function (Fn key) and F8 - this will activate the additional video out port. If you keep pressing that combination, you'll get one, the other, or both working in sequence.

My sony Mp3 is not working

I tried something and it seemed to work ( though how long it will lst I don't know ).

1. Let the battery go dead
2. Put the player in the USB port
3. Update with latest Flash Driver ( check the format option )
4. When finished, remove from the USB port WITHOUT disabling the port through Windows ( just pull it out )
5. Hold down the play button and keep it held down.
6. Navigate to Settings.
7. Go to Restart option and click ok. You have to be quick here since you have to release the Play button. Once you get to the next level , keep the play button pressed or else it will shut off
8. Once it says restart is complete, press power button to shut it off.
9. If you have enough power, give it a try otherwise plug it back in USB port for about 5 to 10 min to get a charge.
10. Remove from USB port the same way as before.
