I have a Dirt Devil Vision and when I put a clean canister back in place the suction at the bottom of the filter clogs up and very rarely go into the canister. Also where the air blows out of the motor, I will get particals that will blow out. I have checked where the belt is and also the suction tube. Do you have any ideas how to fix this problem?

Yes your intake hose is clogged thats the clear hose you can see it on the bottom from the back.disconnect the upper hose from your intake hose and try to push a coat hanger through with the end of the coat hangers end bent till its rounded so you don't puncture the intake hose

Dirt not going into vacuum canister on dirt deval

It sounds like there is a clog in the hose itself if you have no suction from the end. If it is bagless remove the canister from the machine or if it is a bagged machine remove the bag. If you have a shop vac attach the hose from the shop vac to the end of the hose of the dirt devil and try to suck the obstruction out that way. Sometimes it is possible to remove the clog this way. You can tell if you have suction from the debris port to the bag or the canister. If not you may need to use a snake or coat hanger to pull the clog through.

My Dirt Devil en vision hose has good suction but zero suction at the bottom. Clean filter,no clogs.i know replacing the broken belt will make the brush turn. Will it enable suction also?

If you have fixed the suction at the bottom, a new tight belt is important when vacuuming carpeted floors. Belts lose elasticity from being stretched which is why they need replaced frequently.

Why doesn't my dirt devil vision turbo have any suction through the hose yet there's good suction at the hose connection to the canister?

The hose is probably blocked. If possible reverse it (put the intake of the hose on the canister connection) that should suck out the obstruction. If that fails try to carefully push a broom handle into the hose, preferably from the end that connects to the canister. Put the hose back on normally and see what happens.

Durt Devil upright 12 amp Vision Vacuum Cleaner

If there no blockages in the hoses, then the next thing to check would be any filters in the vacuum. When these get clogged, you will experience this problem.

Dirt Devil M086700 Wide Glide upright suction problem

Hi,

These new fangled Hepa filters get clogged up pretty easy and when there's no place for an outlet of air there is no suction going into the clear basket.

You're right. Best way to clean these things is to bang them upside down outside on some concrete or another hard surface until there is no more dust coming out. You can replace them and eventually it comes to that.

The hose that leads up from the suction bed housing has a tight turn in the bottom area and this can collect something large that then collects smaller and smaller. The hose can be disconnected from the bottom unit and it may take a straightened coat hanger to clear out whatever may or may not be in there.

To be sure you have a tight seal just see that the plastic can is seated firmly at the bottom and the top locks in place. The gasket does its job once there is good airflow and the vacuum will do the rest.

Any questions or need for clarification just comment back to me below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Regards,
