Need a replacement power cord for harmon kardon sound sticks II

The dog chewed the power supply Model No. NU40-2160150-I3 I purchased a pair of Harmon/Kardon computer speakers at a garage sale for $5.00. No paper work(owners manuel), no power cord, model unknown. I opened it & found that it is 12v 2500ma. In appearance it is black plastic with gray cloth speaker covers. The words "Harmon/Kardon" on left speaker only. On the bottom of both speakers are the numbers/letters "CN-04N567-48220-26U-043K Rev A00". I would like to know about what I should expect to pay for a power cord, & are these speakers worth it (if they work)?

Its not that expensive for a power cord. they are running on 12v so you go and buy a 12v power supply with a jack that fits the speakers or you can just find a power supply at home if you have one that is 12v

Need to replace th 5 pin DIN plug on harmon kardon sounds stick 2- dog chewed thru it and the plug is gone!

If the mentioned cable is the one that is connected to the motherboard of the sub woofer and has two connectors for the speakers on the other side - please contact the Harman/Kardon support of your country, as they may be able to replace this part (actually this is a very rare part) it also may occur that the company will not be able to replace the part with a genuine one, but with a modified one. You can also try to contact some companies that would be able to replace this cable with a custom-made one.

Where can I buy the power suppy for the sound sticks II?

Q1: Do you have the original power supply and it is broken? Or did it disappear somehow?

If it disappeared, then you are not in luck. Even the parts web page of HarmanAudio.com doesn't have it in stock.
http://www.harmanaudio.com/search_browse/partlist.asp?Parts=SOUNDSTICKSII

You can contact the company: Harman Multimedia
8500 Balboa Boulevard, Northridge, CA 91329 USA
1.516.255.4545

If it is broken, it is possibly under warranty. Contact them at the same phone/address.

How do I disassemble + clean Harmon Kardon SoundStick subwoofer?

Check for a Fuse. Mine is an older model and has a Fuse right next to the power cord. It probably has a slot for a flathead screwdriver.

Harmon/Kardon SoundSticks 2, Power adapter?

If you go to the Harmon/Kardon website, you can find where to buy replacement parts.

http://www.harmankardon.com/

Select product support on the front page, then go to parts.

Then select your product as Harmaron/Kardon SoundsticksII and select your country.

Hope this helps,

Nathan.

Cat at my speaker cords

Most cat problems can be taken care of with a swift kick or a big dog. Suggest you implement this fix before attempting to fix the other problem or you may get a repeat.
