Yes, just make sure the wire polarity is correct. Check for continuity on each wire to determine which is which.

When I plug in the a/c recharger the lights do not light up. I thought it was the a/c recharger and bought one that is rated at 12 volt 120 amps and 600ma.The original is 700ma. I don't think the milliamperage will make a difference. However, the lights that normally go on when it is charging are not on. Does this still sound like the a/c adapter or another problem, or does the a/c recharger specs have to be exactly the same as the one that came with the jump starter? If so, where do I get one? I still have 3 out of 3 red lights when I push the test button,
