Cuisinart Toaster Oven Broiler Not working properly

Since your toaster oven broiler is new, after you check the warranty information in the user manual, contact the Cuisinart company and find out what you need to do to obtain a new replacement.

Note: You may need to provide a copy of the sales receipt for the toaster oven broiler in order to obtain a replacement.

My manual has 1(800)947-3744 Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 5:30 pm CST I have purchased a broiler pan from calling them in the past; now my unit just died yesterday so need to find another.

Sounds like a direct short within the oven! If the unit is still under warranty, take it back to place of purchase!

The drip tray pulls out the back of the oven. It can be soaked in hot soapy water.

Definitely a defect - return to store if possible, or call Cuisinart - it has a 3-year warranty.

Have you tried turning the function button to off? This has worked for mine.

I needed a new timer knob as weel. I contacted KitchenAid's customer satisfaction Center at 1-800-541-6390, and they sent a new one to me at no charge.

Its an on or off thing. No way to control the flow of electricity.

The elements are bigger than necessary to heat the unit quickly, the problem you have is a bad thing with food that burns easily but a good thing that makes these units come up to temp so quickly after turning on.

Unfortunately the only thing you can do is put more space between the element and your food or use aluminum foil (not suggested, its too close to the burners).

Eventually the contacks will fail (unless you are one of the lucky ones).
