This should have what you are looking for:
http://emachines.com/support/product_support.html
I am unable to ensure that it does as i do not know the exact model number and series.
If the site does not contain the driver you are lookinf for please post back with the model of the computer and i will do some more research.

Need ethernet drivers for emachine e525

http://support.gateway.com/us/en/emac/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=1325

Scroll down. There are two LAN drivers listed.
One is RealTek, one is Ralink.

The Ralink LAN driver is for Vista 32-bit, and 64-bit
The RealTek LAN driver is for WinXP 32-bit or 64-bit.

So without having to go to Device Manager, you know right off the bat which LAN driver you need, based on what Operating System you are using.

Vista or XP.

[ But the proper method is to check;

WinXP:
Left-click on Start
Right-click on My Computer.
Left-click on Properties at the bottom of the list.
Left-click on the Hardware tab.
Left-click on Device Manager.

When Device Manager loads, left-click on the + sign to the left of -
Network Adapters.
Your Ethernet adapter manufacturer will be shown.

Vista and Win7:
Left-click on the Windows logo button.
Right-click on Computer
Left-click on Properties at the bottom of the list.
Left-click on the Hardware tab.
Left-click on Device Manager.

When Device Manager loads, left-click on the + sign to the left of -
Network Adapters.
Your Ethernet adapter manufacturer will be shown ]

When you click on the appropriate driver file, a small window will come up on the right.
Go to the bottom of this small window, and left-click on Save File.

A small window will come up on the left. In the wording at the top of this window, tells you where the file will download to.
It may have Desktop, or My Documents, or Downloads, in the wording.

{Desktop, or Documents, or Downloads, for Vista and Win7}

1) Desktop: The file will be on your desktop screen.

2) My Documents: Left-click on Start, then on My Documents.

{Windows logo button, then Documents, for Vista and Win7}

3) Downloads: Left-click on Start, then My Documents. DOUBLE-click on Downloads.

{Windows logo button, then Documents. DOUBLE-click on Downloads, for Vista, and Win7}

When you see the file name DOUBLE-click right on it. The Installation Wizard will come up.
Follow the easy instructions.

{Essentially just click on Next, Next, and Finish at the bottom.
Windows knows the proper place for the driver file. Do Not change any settings}

After the installation is finished, restart your computer if not asked to do so.

{TIP: Sometimes it takes a cold boot, instead of a warm boot. (Restart)
The computer has to be turned all the way off. WAIT 1 minute, then turn back on}

hi,
other computers are working fine in your modem?in that case you need to check if your pc can detect the modem,or you can check if the ethernet driver (for LAN connection) and/or wireless driver (for wifi) are installed correctly...you can check that in the device manager if the drivers are properly installed
if Windows 7 - click start ; on the start search area, type device and the look for device manager
look for network adapters and you will see there you lan and/or wireless adapter

I need ethernet driver for EMACHINES T2682

This system comes preinstalled with Windows XP and only XP drivers a re available for download. They are not guaranteed to work with Win 7 or Vista but may.

The Ethernet driver or LAN (realtec) driver can be downloaded by clicking here.

  1. Its a zip file, extract it in any folder.
  2. There are three files, one of which is .INF file.
  3. To install the LAN driver open Device Manager from Control Panel.
  4. Locate the ethernet controller.
  5. Right-click on it and select Upgrade Driver.
  6. Choose to install manually.
  7. Then select pick driver from computer.
  8. Browse to the folder and point the installation to the INF file. It will install it automatically.
You can also find other (audio, video etc) drivers on this website. Just select your desired computer from the list.

Ethernet not work

Check in the Device manager to see if all the devices are enable and working.
The one with a yellow ? against that device requires a driver installation.
Is the LAN device OK?
How do you intend to setup your LAN, is it for Internet access or a home network?
I need more information on your problem, together with error messages.

Installed xp windows on 2nd computer and don't have ethernet access

If the LAN is on board, it could be that Windows XP has no drivers for it and so the motherboard cd should be used to drive all the devices on board. Alternatively, you can get a cheap LAN card that is Windows based ok. However, first go to the Device Manager to check whether the drivers for the ethernet are installed.

XP Pro Ethernet Controller down - Device Manager refuses to see Lan folder.

When you copy the driver to the computer , put it on the desktop. Sometimes folders are hidden by default.
Also,

Make sure that it enabled in the BIOS...
