Hi,

Please try doing a hard reset by pressing and holding Home button and the Sleep/wake button at the same time for about 10 seconds.

Password unlock for iphone 3 & 4

If you have forgotten the passcodes then you can only restore the iPhones.

Hold the Power Button & Home button, the phone will turn off, keep holding the buttons, when the apple logo appears, let go of the power button but remain holding the home button. You should now get a screen that shows a cable and Itunes
Connect you phone to the PC and load up itunes, Itunes will say that it has detected a phone in recovery and can only be restored, click Restore phone, this will basically wipe the phone and will need setting up again after restore.

What to do when iphone doesn't turn on

If it won't turn on. Meaning it doesn't turn on turn on. The phone is dead and gone.
If the phone turns on but sticks at the apple logo, that means it needs a restore/update.
If the phone turns on and stick at the usb/apple logos. That means it needs to be restored.

To restore or update. You need to use itunes. If the phone is bricked and dead, dead... Then you need to get a new phone

My iPhone fell and now it won't turn on - the screen is just blank. I plugged it in to iTunes and it siad that the phone was in restore mode and needed to be updated and restored. i did that and then...

Try holding down the "power" and the "home" buttons at the same time for 10 seconds to turn it off, and then immediately release the "power" button and continue to hold the "home" button for another 10 seconds. Your iTunes should recognize your device in recovery mode. try restoring it again like what you have tried earlier and hope it gives you a good result.

The screen lights up but blank white, it won't do anything including switching off

Hello,

The first thing to check weather your phone is working fine is by plugging your iphone to a computer using you usb cable.

* If the phone have been detected in normal way when itunes comes out and give complete details and information of your phone,it seems your phone LCD screen has the problem,it somehow need replacement.(bringing it to apple center is the solution for parts replacement.)

* But if then phone have been detected as recovey mode, your phone firmware seems to have problem,by somehow fixing this basically, try to press and hold POWER + HOME button simultaneously for about 20-30,then see if the phone sets to normal.

If not, then you need to restore the phone by following this procedure : FOLLOW ME

If you have some concerns, please let me know and i get back to you as soon as possible.

My IPhone 3G crashed a couple of weeks ago & the Apple store restored it back to basics. I restored it to my last back up but now I cannot get my Jawbone to pair up. I have tried the correct way. It...

Clearly it was something on your back up that made it crash the first time.
Next time you restore it from the apple store don't reinstal your back up. Best bet is to start over. I've had that happen to me a few times, and it was an app that I installed that crashed.

  • This isn't an iTunes problem. While the iPod is displaying this logo, you need to plug it in to a computer that has iTunes open beforehand.
  • Try using another computer with iTunes installed, or another USB cable for the iPod. Try to restart by holding the sleep and home buttons for about 10 seconds.
  • If this still doesn't work, take the iPod to your local Apple store, where they can check for any hardware problems that may have occurred.

My iphone is hanged its shows apple logo only, hw can i solved this problem without loosing my all data, like my videos, contacts, pictures, pls help me out

Try pressing and holding both the POWER & the HOME button at the same time for around 3 to 10 seconds until it turns OFF. Then turn it back on again.

If it still won't go past the Apple logo, use tinyumbrella to Fix Recovery or to Exit out of Recovery. Download tinyumbrella using the links below: for Mac for PC (Windows)

Update tinyumbrella first if it tells you that there's newer version available.

NOTE: Your computer must be able to recognize your iPhone before you can use tinyumbrella to fix it. If your computer could not recognize your iPhone, you first need to put it to DFU mode. To learn more about DFU mode, CLICK HERE.

If those things still don't work, you'll have no other choice but to restore. Again, your computer must be able to recognize your iPhone before you can restore it using iTunes. Put it to DFU mode if your computer won't recognize it.
