ASUS m2n32 won't allow me to go into setup; shuts down...

Usually hold the [ fn ] key and the [ f2 ] together or just the [ f2 ] key depending on how your "Hotkeys" are setup. If you've had a fresh install of windows or the drivers aren't working properly you can do it manually by going into the bios like so:
Step 1
Turn on your Asus Netbook. If your netbook is already on, click the "Start" button, click the arrow next to the "Shut Down" button and then click "Restart."

Step 2
Wait for the Asus Netbook BIOS screen to appear, then press the "F2" key.
Step 3
Press the "Right" arrow to scroll over to the "Advanced" tab.
Step 4
Press the "Down" arrow until you reach the "Onboard Devices Configuration" option. Press the "Enter" key.
Step 5
Press the "Down" arrow to "Onboard WLAN" then press the "Enter" key.
Step 6
If the "Disabled" option is highlighted, press the "Up" arrow to highlight the "Enabled" option, then press the "Enter" key.
Step 7
Press the "F10" key. Press the "Enter" key to save your changes and exit the BIOS. Note: If you are missing your hotkey drivers you can find them here under the ATK section (Use the latest version) http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=3&s=670&m=F555LA&os=&hashedid=n%2fa

PRESS the DEL key on boot up.... you will enter setup. Pending your computer .... it may be F1 or F11.... normally your shown what key to press at boot up (but the manufacturers (hide the on screen messages during boot up) so turn on this feature as well, because you get to see your system boot. Laptop and Notebooks have simple setups whereas more advanced motherboards like Asus give you a full array of options to control your PC.

as a P/S2 keyboard.plug it in the USB contact in the back.in any USB port.

Wait until the computer begins to restart and then press the power button and hold it for approximately four or five seconds. The computer shuts down completely. Unplug the PS/2 keyboard from the computer and set it aside. Reconnect the USB keyboard restart the computer. As soon as you see the initial boot screen, tap the "Delete" key several times and wait for the BIOS setup screen to appear. If you are able to access the BIOS setup screen with the USB keyboard, USB support is active in the BIOS.

Change the settings for the PS2 port by moving the menu choice to the "PS2" setting. Press "Enter" to bring up a smaller menu with the options to enable or disable the PS2 ports. Select "Enabled." You can also use the arrow keys or the plus key to change the current selection from "Disabled" to "Enabled" in order to enable the PS2 port. Change the settings for the USB port by moving the menu choice to the "USB" setting. Press "Enter" to bring up a smaller menu with options to enable or disable the USB ports. Select "Enabled." Alternatively, use the arrow keys or the plus key to change the current selection from "Disabled" to "Enabled" in order to enable the USB port. Save the settings and exit by pressing "F10" or using the "Esc" key to back out of the current menu. Choose to save and exit from the main menu if needed. Restart your computer. Press F9 key immediately when the ASUS logo appears. This will start the recovery procedure, including the installation of all the drivers and utilities. Follow the instructions. Your computer will be restored to the factory settings.
1. Recover windows to first partition only. this option will delete only the first partition, allowing you to keep other partitions, and create a new system partition as drive "c". 2. Recover windows to entire HD. This option will delete all partitions from your hard disk drive and create a new system partition as drive "C". 3. Recover windows to entire HD with 2 partition. This option will delete all partitions from your hard drive and create two new partitions "C" (60%) and "D" (40%).

Usually, the brand new ASUS notebook computer hard disk is with 2 partitions. So, it is suggested that you select “3. Recover windows to entire HD with 2 partitions”.

To enter bios it so easy. When you turn on your computer you just only press delete to enter bios. If the bios does not exist you can press also F2.

Boot from windows CD and after all drivers are loaded it will ask you what you want to do
"Install, repair etc" choose Install and then press the R key for repair and follow instructions from there

Have you tried clearing the bios? there's a jumper in the motherboard that let's you erase all settings done in the bios and return it to its original state. Some motherboards even include a password erase jumper for the bios. Check your motherboard manual for the location. Just place the jumper in the clear position and return it back. Some motherboards may require you to turn on the pc while in the clear position and then turn them on again in the normal position to perform a through clearing.

If this isn't working you might be dealing with a corrupted bios... data on it might have got altered by a virus or some error. So now it doesn't work as it should.

If you can't boot your PC and enter windows or browse the internet, then you must work from another computer and download a bios image from the manufacturer web page and look for an alternate method of bios update that lets you update your bios from a floppy disk or maybe from a pendrive.

If you can access windows and the only problem is that you can't access bios, then do a bios update through windows directly, downloading the new bios image from the manufacturer's webpage.

Take note some motherboards won't boot up if there's a problem with the CPU fan, to protect the CPU from burning.

u have problem with ur key board remove the dust in the key board its not problem with ur computer its a just ur keyboard
