I NEVER had this problem until now. I've owned this dryer for over a year and now the past few months my camisoles and bras are all twisted up and snap apart. I've gone through a few hundred dollars in clothes alone and it's not like I'm doing anything different! What's up with THAT?! I shouldn't have to use the laundry bag until now. I'm really angry!
SOURCE: Our dryer lint trap won't go down all the way and
It may be backwards. But the first thing I would look for is if there is lint caught in the shute keeping it from going down all the way. If it is a newer model there is a lint screen sensor that may have come unattached and keeping the lint screen from going down all the way. Good luck.
Good Morning Percy, thank you for your inquiry!
From the information you have provided you Frigidaire dryer runs for 10 to 15 seconds and then will shut off. It sounds like it could be a possible problem with your thermostat or control panel. A reset may help with any internal miscommunications inside of your dryer. You can reset your dryer by disconnecting power from it for at least ten minutes. If that does not help your issue I would recommend having a professional technician out to perform an accurate diagnosis on your dryer to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt
I appreciate your post, Joe Ivey!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire dryer is leaking water inside the tub when clothes are drying. It sounds like your water valve may be leaking. You may want to have a professional technician out to your home to properly diagnosis your dryer this will help to avoid any unnecessary part purchases or future issues. Hopefully this was helpful. -Matt
