Theres a manual flap that seperates air from outside,an air from heater near floor under dash.....if stuck will do this.....also if thermostat is old an wont close ,tempature cannot build.....if it has a thermostat,if missing.......wont heat up
its probably the actuator. its usually located under the dash in the center. you might be able to get to it by removing the glove box and looking to the drivers side. its a black box that has a wire connector on it. switch your heater control from hot to cold and you should here it click. replace it and i bet your problem is solved
there is a drivers blend door actuator. the actuators are know to go bad. I know in toronto the dealer wants 80 bucks for the part. it easy to change. save yourself the money and do it yourself if you can
The temperature actuator has gone bad. You will need to replace and have it recalibrated. You could try and disconnect the battery for a few hours and see if it will reset it's self. But you will be in the same boat before too long. And will eventually need to replace it.
o3 buick century will not open vents to allow cold air from AC
