SanDisk Sansa Fuze MP3 Player - FOLDER PROBLEMS

I purchased a Sansa Fuze MP3-player and loaded music files to the player, which took 1,87 Gb (of 2,0 Gb) of storage. The music files are present in the player, but I cannot find any music files when I open the music folder on the computer. I checked all the different folders to find out if I had saved the files to a wrong folder, but this is not the case. None of the folders shows any storage og music files.

How do I get around this problem?

SOURCE: wont open music folder

The folder option won't work particularly well - use Windows Media Player instead. If you continue to have problems:
Go ahead and do this, in case the DB is corrupted:
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx

Itunes is what is known as proprietary software.
Which basically means that it only works with hardware of the same brand. (Apple- Ipod)
You will not be able Itunes to load mp3 files on a Sansa MP3 player.

Why is there no manual with my sansa fuze

Hello,

For the Sansa Fuze there's a manual available in pdf format on the Sandisk support site:
http://mp3support.sandisk.com/sansa/UserManual/FUZE/fuze_userguide_en.pdf
Save this file to a location on your computer for later use.

When you explore "My Computer" the micro SD card with x GB memory, should be available as an extra external drive.
This drive will show up as an extra drive letter with a total capacity of x GB .

Sansa Fuze MP3 Player - it is loading pictures to

Is it Loading Album Art? If this is the case, I don't think you'll be able to to stop it, Album art is typically very tiny in file size, and should have negligable impact on your available space. If it is syncing automatically to a folder, try moving any pictures in that folder somewhere else. This can probably be done with Album art as well, but you'll need to turn on the Setting "Show all Files (Including Hidden and System Files) in the Folder Options Dialogue box.

Deleting files from Sansa e250

The only way I know to delete music files or voice or FM recordings, is straight from the User's manual on the CD: 1. Set the e250 to MSC mode. 2. Plug it in to your computer with the USB connector. 3. Open the Sansa e250 drive in My Computer and browse to the MUSIC folder (or RECORD folder)and delete the files there. (That's where you also add music files, by dragging from other explorer windows.) To delete (or add) photo and video files, you have to use the Media Converter, which you install from the disk that came with the e250.
