KX-T7130 call display

How do I activate the call display on the KX-T7130 phone system

Thanks but not the info needed. I have the manuals for the system. In-coming calls do not show on the dispaly of the phone. Above link only shows how to setup individual hand sets.

  • russell369_j Jan 04, 2009

I guess the proper terminology is Caller ID to show up on the display. How do I get this to work on the KX-T7130?

  • russell369_j Jan 04, 2009

yes, I have subscribed. Nothing in the manual about call dispaly or caller ID. Is system too old?

  • russell369_j Jan 04, 2009

No. Thanks anyway. Features only apply to indivudual buttons on phones. Caller display/ID is not a listed feature in the manual I have.

  • russell369_j Jan 04, 2009

I only have section 4 of the installers manual where all the features are located and how to activate. I may need some update equipment or software, not sure.

    Thanks again for trying. Appreciated!

I take it you have subscribed to call display with your phone company. If not, you will need to call them & do so.

Only button I see in instructions is the # 6 area. Top 12 there, says feature buttons, maybe one of those when pushed will allow you to activate caller I.D. ?

Sure doesn't tell you much in that manual does it ?

I think I'd be tempted to send an e-mail. That link I sent you for the manual has a spot right beside downloads to click on & send them an e-mail and ask if that phone even has that feature, then you won't be driving yourself nuts trying to figure it out. If it does, ask for more detail on it use etc. Good Luck

I have a panasonic KX-T7130E and want to know how to connect and install it.

It connects to a Panasonic Key Service Unit, pick a number, TA/TES, TAW, KXT, KXTD, and in some cases TDA/TDE/NCP. It's an analog 4-wire system phone, so it requires both voice and data pairs (a 4-pin connection) and a port on the system. You can only connect one 7130 to a system extension.

Can I use a KX-T7130 on a two phone line without a phone system? In other words, can I use it like a standard 2 line telephone? If so, how do I do this? It was last used on a phone system and I'm not...

No. However, you can use it on one of about 18 different Panasonic systems. Ebay is full of economy Pana's, but the first and best one you'd want is the TA-824 with Caller ID card. It runs about $200-250 and will let you add 7 other phones to the system and 3 lines.

FWD/DND - PANASONIC KX-T7130

Don't laugh. Push the button and read the display. It will either unset DND or CF :-).

The 7100 command is part of the sequence to cancel those features on most phone systems and 790 or 79# will reset the extension. Of course it may be different if you have a TDA or TAW box (*7100) or a KX-T xxx10 system.

Depending on your system, you can switch the phone to program, press the CO button and dial 1 105 store. If it's a Feature button, jsut dial the extension (105) and store. IIRC the "2" is assumed on a feature button.
