Caller id how do i get rid of the flashing green lite from the caller id and said msg waiting on the display i had no caller id incoming someone please help and someone told me to call the phoe company and they can help note i have no op's manual to try to get rid of this problem

The one who can show the caller ID when someone call is the caller only. He/she can set to hide his/her number ID in their phone so we can't see it. We can't force to see this caller ID, but if this calls disturbed you, you can install call blocker and only allow certain incoming call to be recieved.

In some instances the caller might have caller-id blocked or a *67 manaul caller id block.

You are correct if you have a duplicate contact entry it does not show the name of the caller incoming.

I just called my service provider and they were able to fix it. Just gotta wait 4hrs then turn it off, wait a few seconds then turn it on. heaps quick they knew what i was talking about straight away

You have unheard messages on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when someone calls while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

Unusual problem. Check the settings to make sure theirs not a way to disable Caller ID. Give Verizon a call and see if they can find out whats going on.

I have had this phone (twin) for quite a few years . If your incoming line supports caller ID it should work immediately. I never had to activate this. I would check if caller ID on your line is working. Check with another phone if you can.

Is caller ID enabled on your line, usually this is an extra provided by the phone company, software won't function without it usually.
