Are you referring to 16 degrees and 34 degrees?
If you are, it is not possible to lower the setting to 16 degrees, 32 degreees is freezing, so the evaperator coil would start to freeze up, and as the ice spreads across the coil............... Air can not flow through ice, so the air will stop blowing, till you shut the system down for a couple of hours, to allow the ice to melt.
This is the reason why these units are set with min. temp settings.
I hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Paul Gibson
If this is a central ac unit. Check breakers. Turn on ac and see if outside unit is running. If you have float switch inside check the drain. But there is only so much you can do without knowledge of ac. You may need to call a service tech but ask for free estimate.Russ
