That's a pretty standard setup. RCA cables from the KM207 to the preamp (KC207), and RCA cables from all of the other components into the KC207. Speakers connect into the KM207

How can i hook up my kenwood stereo control amplifier KC-105 to my GPX home stereo system?

If the GPX has an headphone output you could use the a stereo headphone jack to two phono cables lead. Connect them to the "aux" socket of the amp, or another suitable - not a phono or deck - socket.
You would have to keep the volume level low on the GPX unit, but apart from that all the functions should work.

Can i get a virtual remote control anywhere for my kenwood stereo control amplifier kc-209

The first place to start looking for them is in the Kenwood website. Perhaps they may have a dozen of so working remotes for you. Give them an email and see if they can help you. I had a roller door garage and after 4 years of use, their cheap little remote stopped working. I emailed their website and they had a few in a spare box. Guess what? They gave me two for nothing. Kenwood could do that too. All it takes is hit on the website and email them. Cheer

Am trying to hook up an older kenwood home stereo system and dont know where all of the wires go. There is a model #kt-87synthesizer, km-207 amplifier, double cassette kx-77cw, stereo control amp kc-207...

Okay you are going to need 5 sets of RCA cables of 3 foot lengths. Ensure the KM-207 is adequately ventilated unless you want to burn up the KM-207. Next you will want to place the KC-207 near the KM-207 and connect the "Output to Amp" from the KC-207 to the "Input" to the KM-207. Now you may stack the KX-77CW, the DP-M97 and the KT-87 Tuner in no particular order. I tend to place them sideways so I may access them just in case I don't like how it is set up. Unless I can access them from the back. "Output" or "Play" from the DP-M207 goes into the "CD Input" in the back of the KC-207. "Output" or "Record" on the KC-207 "Tape 1" goes into the "Input or "Record" on the KX-77CW. "Output"or "Play" on the KX-77CW goes into the "Input" or "Play" on the "Tape 1" of the KC-207. "Output" on the KT-87 Tuner goes into the "Tuner Input" on the KC-207. Here is a trick to help you new stuff uses color codes such as White or Blue RCA cable ends, and Red RCA cable ends to indicate White or Blue for Left channel and Red for Right channel. Now you didn't indicate how to hookup speakers so I will not assume you are concerned about anything but using headphones for listening. I hope this has been of assistance.

Kenwood stereo control amplifier KC-206 doesn't work

I was able to use an universal remote control that I have, a Radio Shack Kameleon 6 in one remote control which I was able to program to run the audio portion of the Kenwood KC 206 control preamp. By adjust the remote sensor volume to max, I was able to get maximum volume out of the unit and drive the power section very nicely. Now I have to get up and manually turn the manual volume control for addition volume adjustment.

Hopefully Ken can find a remote that he can control the Kenwood control preamp the same way I did. Good luck here.

Kenwood amplifier

A home stereo system is not complete without an amplifier which drives the speakers. A preamp cannot drive a speaker. Try to read the labels at the back of the system...if it reads speaker then that is the amplifier output. Would you mind giving us what model is your system?
