I run aldelo pos system. one of my terminals won't allow for credit cards to be run, nor will it print to the kitchen. i have cleaned all connections and checked connections to the router (netgear) and all are good. I have two terminals and the other one works just fine. Also, the versions on each computer appear to be the same.... HELLLPP!!! Thanks, Randy

Okay lets break this down in simple steps! this sounds like simple Networking issues, due to not printing and being able to use the credit cards features.
Is your POS in the same Network range? usually a network consists of 192.168.ZZZ.1 ( Z being a numerical example) all the way to 254. if your other pos is for example to say 192.168.0.80 then this pos has to be ALSO in the same range but with a different IP lets sayyy 192.168.0.81 or which ever is not in use. let me send you a link with the instructions on how to change an IP> https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/19249/how-to-assign-a-static-ip-address-in-xp-vista-or-windows-7/
if your connected to the same network, and you still can't do anything and your ip is correct, then this means that you have another equipment with the same IP as the POS this is called an "IP Conflict" simply change the IP of the adapter and your gonna be good to go.

Yes!! I finally have a solution. On my wireless Acer Aspire 5720z. (From vista to XP) What I do? Ok. I download the vista-7.1.0.90-whql from the .ck page. With this one the Acer recognice the wireless but have problem with the installed driver. Then I download the xp32-7.6.0.239-whql, go to My Computer rigth click to properties, hardware tap, Click devive manager, on network adapter right click, Update driver and update with the xp32-7.6.0.239. Si finalmente encontre como resolver el problema de wireless the mi maquina Acer Aspire 5720Z. (de Vista a XP) que fue lo que hice. Fuy a la paguina que algunos hablan .ck y baje el programa comprimido vista-7.1.0.90-whql con este ella pudo ver el wireless pero tenia problemas con el driver entonces baje el xp32-7.6.0.239 le di update al driver y resuelto el problema. Gracias a todos los que alludaron de alguna manera o otra!!!

THe amplifier connects to the crossover.. If you are using an amplifier there is no reason to connect the radio/deck to the crossover.

You need to make sure the new terminal has the printer setting turned 'on'. Because there are MANY different software platforms used by processors, there can be many different ways of accessing this setting on the terminal. Call your processor's Help Desk and have them check the settings. NOTE: you can't simply plug in a terminal and have it run... every terminal must have software downloaded to it containing your account information and settings in order to work with their system.
Also.. I'd suggest getting a new terminal anyway as the Zon JR XL and the Tranz 330 (and 380) terminals are no longer Class A certified. Processors are ending support for these terminals because of certification and PCI Compliance issues. If you find your printer needs replacing, just look at picking up a VX-series terminal (with built-in printer) and you will be good to go for years. Good luck!

Hi, i have the same issue and it isnt the firewall. But here is how to disable it if it is. Go to the router websight at 192.168.0.1 (type this directly into the browser bar at the top of your page. The password is usually password in lowercase. The username is admin. This will get you into the management screen for the router config. Look on the Left and you will see firewall. Click on this then ensure that there are no restrictions for HP.
I still have the issue with the printer so good luck.......scotty

The cash drawer is loking for a signal from the printer to fire the drawer. It is usually on one of the pins of the cable comming from the printer. You will probably have to contact the cash drawer manufacture for that information.
