I received an ipod classic 120 and a JBLon stage dock 200iD as a gift. Question # 1 Do I have to use one of the adapters given because none of the adaptors,per instructions, are for my ipod 120? #2 How does the remote work? Is it supposed to only work when the ipod is in a certain mode? Because the volume did not change using remote. Thanks for your attention. Anna Cohen

SOURCE: JBL Radial Remote stopped working.New battery replaced no avail.

Turn on the JBL with the ipod in place, turn off at the mains plug, turn back on, turn on your JBL and the remote should work.

Buy a universal USB cord which has many different connecting ends. Easily available in electronic shops.
Connect USB 2.0 to the pendrive and the other end to JBL IPOD dock

How to open jbl on stage 200id?

To open the JBL On Stage 200iD, you need to follow these steps:

Remove the power adapter from the back of the device.
Turn the device over so that the bottom is facing up.
Locate the six rubber pads on the bottom of the device and remove them using a plastic opening tool.
Remove the six 1cm T-10 torx screws found under the rubber pads using a T-10 Torx screwdriver.
Open the device along its seam.

Get one of these to sole your problem. ipod change their charging circuit I found one at Walmart in the ipod accessories section. Its called the Passport home dock adapter.
