My esa plasma tv (42") will cut on and sounds great. the problem is the picture, all you see is shadows and there is no color. the picture slowly creeps across the screen. any help would be great..

Try restarting,check that every connection that should be connected is connected.
Especially the scart connection, they have a tendency to cut out the sound or colours.

hello, if you have a good picture then your set is serviceble make sure you check all your options and audio set up settings before you go futher, with this symptom your set displaying fine and sound not coming trough it could be a fualty sound board module this board is identified by aquiring a service manual and then using the schematic drawings location the board that controls sound, i would then find this board online at auction or parts site and have it exchanged. hope this helps

Thin lines down center of ESA 42"plasma tv, about 1 pixel wide each, about 3/4" to either outside line
Started as 1 then 4 over 4 months

my esa plasma tv model pdp 4294lv1 has sound and i can switch the tv channels, but the color is blurrier

pull plug. allow to reset. try again.
