Every now and then my stove top will just start flashing E on all the cook burners. WHY!
Hello - Typically error code E on Electrolux induction cook top indicates an error with the user interface board/control board. Contact a professional to move forward accurately and properly diagnose/repair the unit.

Go to repairclinic . com and enter your model number. They will have your parts.
You may try and reset the induction cook top by disconnecting the power to the unit for up to 30 seconds. This will clear most false error codes. You can disconnect power by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on. If the error code does not clear, then the unit more than likely can be experiencing an issue with the EOC and user interface board. This is not a typical do it yourself job; please consult a professional or your manufacturer.

Hi, I have had a similar problem with our induction cooktop and I have found Elecrolux America customer service to be completely worthless. We have been without a cooktop for 2.5 months now as Electrolux has twice send the wrong parts or incomplete parts for repairing our induction cooktop. Our unit is only six year old and the main circuit board blew. Who knew it would take more than two months to get this stovetop fixed? And Electrolux customer service is terrible. Because we have been all summer without a stovetop and because they have twice sent us the wrong parts, or incomplete parts, the last incorrect part resulting in our touch panel circuit board also blowing out... we have asked Electrolux to just replace the cooktop for us at cost. Our unit is out of warrantee, but considering what horrible customer service we have received, and how long we've had to wait, you think Electrolux would work with us. But no. They've only offered to discount the cost of the circuit board... nevermind that the wrong parts they sent out in the first place are likely the reason why the touch panel blew. We have been particularly surprised by how rude Brenda Malone has been to us (Customer Service, extension 7869). Both my husband and I have called her and left her messages four times this week, trying to order the parts we need and she has not called us back. DON'T BUY ELECTROLUX. THEY DO NOT SUPPORT THEIR PRODUCTS. THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG AND YOU HAPPEN TO BE SIX MONTHS OUT OF WARRANTEE... JUST COUNT ON HAVING TO SHELL OUT FULL PRICE FOR ANOTHER NEW COOKTOP. I used to be a big fan of Electrolux's products. Not anymore. Very bad customer service, Electrolux. You've lost this customer for good.
Just got similar error message on my six year old induction top. Based on your description I will just buy a new one and steer away from Electrolux. Thanks for sharing.
Of course you will shell out full amount, even if only an hour ago your warranty expired...
