I assume that you are asking that, how to recover the video file. if it is in the memory card of the phone, you may try using a recovery software to recover it. But it wont get success in every moment.

If you want to set an mp3 or "Custom" tone for your "Notifications" you can dowload an app or...
Connect your X10 to your computer. Pull down the usb notification in top left of screen and mount sd card.
Then go into your phone menu via "My Computer" and either go into media/audio/notifications or create the folders yourself. Remember they must be lower case letters.
Then all you have to do is copy your tone into the "notifications" folder disconnect your phone from your pc and go into "Settings" "Sound and Display" "Notification ringtone" and it should now be in your list with the preset standard tones.

How to rip DVD to Sony Ericsson Xperia Play

Xperia play is one of the Sony Ericsson smartphones running the Android operating system. The phone features 4.0 inch LED-backlit LCD screen and a 1GHz Scorpion processor CPU. It is the first PlayStation Certified device. For game fans, it's really a good choice. With this mazing smartphone, watching movies also seems cool.

As we all know, most portable devices can't play discs. Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is just one of them. Maybe you have a large collection of DVD discs. So play movies on Xperia Play will be a good enjoyment. But, in the first place, we should rip and convert DVD discs to Sony Ericsson Xperia Play supported formats. Here I use this Free DVD Ripper, it's a professional DVD tool. Below is the step-by-step guide:
Step 1. Download the DVD to Sony Ericsson Converter. install and run it. Then add your DVD file. DVD disc or ISO/IFO files all will be OK.
Step 2. Choose the suitable format for Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. i recommend you "Format < Android < Motorola Droid (x) H.264 Video (*.mp4)".
Step 3. Click on "Settings" to set the Size (pix) as 1280×720 ( Play 720P movies on your Xperia Play in full screen with High Quality ). Or, you can set its video resolution as 854×480 if you need, it also can full screen.
Tips: Click on the "save" to finish the settings. Or you can also click "save as" to rename (such as Sony Ericsson Xperia Play H.264 Video *.mp4) the profile for next use in Custom category of "Format".
Step 4. Click the " convert" to start the process.
After a short time, you will get the converted file. Then transfer it to XP. Now you can watch movies on Xperia Play as ease. Have fun!
More info: free dvd ripper for mac, free dvd ripper mac.
Xperia Play Battery Drain and screen malfunction during charge.

Apps and services in the background drain your phone even while in standby mode. Turning off your 3G or 4G connection will deprive you of the internet but it will still permit you to get phone calls. Meanwhile, you are not having apps such as Google constantly draining your power in the background. And they are, even in standby mode. Charge your phone frequently to help preserve battery life.

My sony ericson xperia x10 mini wont let me play my music files i keep getting an erra message saying file not supported how do i amend this problem

xperia x10 supported video and audio formats are listed below:
Supported Audio Formats MP3/eAAC+/WMA/WAV
Supported Video Formats MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV

I am not sure what format of video files did you put in your phone. If your imported audio format is not one of its playable video format, you have to transcode it to one of listed above.

As video/audio converter, Aunsoft Video Converter is the recommended program to convert video and audio files to right format for Sony Ericsson Phone.

Good luck.
