Have a honda eu3000is and now won't start has no spark

Check gaskets / seals / piston rings as it sounds like oil contamination is fouling the plugs.

sounds like the valve clearances are to tight. if you adjust the clearances you should be fine

May have a weak coil - check that angle out.

take out the spark plug then plug it up and hold it agains the frame or somthing metal and crank it over if it sparks your getting fire

Based on you question, this could be anything (like going to your Dr. and telling him "I'm sick"). That being said, if it just sat with gas in it, then it's likely a fuel problem (ie; plugged carburetor). These machines do not like the new Ethanol Gas and they cannot be left to sit or they'll gum up on you. An engine needs three things in order to start and run. 1. Spark 2. Fuel 3. Compression. First check your spark; if there is no spark, it'll never start. If there is spark, then I recommend a good carb cleaning. Better left to a professional if you're not familiar with this procedure. I have ran into this many times, when there is no spark or fuel pump it's working it has always lead me to the ignition igniter in the distributor.

I also have this problem.. pulled it apart last night and found a lil corrosion from not being started for a long while.. I have another one that runs so I'll take it apart and exchange parts to see what's needed

Check the Ground Fault Indicator circuit breaker for triping, and look for the high limit on generator. Reset the main breaker by triping it full right and then back. Vitally
