No picture from my xbox 360 to my tv??

When i turn on my on 360 the picture doesn't show up on the tv. The sounds work and i can even play the game but just with no picture. At first I thought it was the tv, so I tried hooking up my old super nintendo and the picture worked on it. So I thought that it had to be the AV cable. So last night I went and picked up a new AV cable and low and behold...it still wont give me any picture. This is not used on HD. The original cable I had came with a Hd and TV switch on the cable but this newer one doesn't have the HD switch. Anyways Im lost and confused now and don't know where to go or what to try next. So any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks guys.

    i have no solution to my problem. i have no picture from my xbox to my tv. but i have sound. anyways i tried buying new cables but it still didnt work. what can i do?

It is the solder under the GPU chip. Same as the 3 red light problem. YOu can send it to us if you want it fixed.

Try cleaning the disk, if that doesn't work, try another disk, if that doesn't work, then turn the xbox off, take the hard drive out, put it back in, then try playing the game again.

if u are using hdmi cable try changing the existing cable

if it works in another tv , go changing the setting in the displaysettings and video settiing

Have got no picture on my tv xbox 360 is loading
you probably have a broken video or hdmi cable. somtimes the cables can even break at the connections or under the plastic coating, making the video going from your xbox to your tv not work.

it might bea problem with your actual video cord that plugs into the tv.... umm my xbox has a lot of issues too but ive never had this. id suggest you let it say off for a while and try somebody elses cords that connect the xbox to the tv to see if its an issue with your xbox or if its with your cords. ill also suggest you call microsoft and they can troubleshoot...

Problems with picture quality
if it shows up on multiple games then there is a problem with either your cord or your tv. Trying cleaning the connectors that room from the xbox to the tv. Do you have an old tv or a newer one?

Plays dvds on xbox 360 fine, but no picture for games/dashboard
already solved it. thanks. i couldn't see the xbox settings blade because of the blank screen so switched my component cable to the tv setting instead of the hdtv setting, then i could see the dashboard in non-hd and switched the resolution to 720p while simultaneously switching the component cable back to the hdtv setting. that worked.

No picture or sound on the tv
where you put the cables for the sound and picture if you look on the end where you plug it into the xbox 360 you will see a little switch it has HD and TV on it depending on what your tv supports (HD ready TV) (normal TV) switch that switch to what TV you have (e.g. HD TV, switch the switch to HD) if that doesnt work then try checking that you have all the cables in the right ports if you have pluged the HD cables into a normal TV then this is not going to work, check cables and check the switch!
