My guess would be that the switch inside that the tray hits to tell the dvd player it's closed is broken.

Loading may mean it is not seeing the disc---A dirty or bad optical pickup is possible if you get this error with every disc.

If I understand correctly you have put 24V DC on the DVD player? If this is so, then unfortunately, it will most likely be totally destroyed? Most things I get in my workshop that have been subject to even a small over-voltage, say 6V - 9/12 v, are totally wrecked, so in a DVD such as this 24V would destroy almost all the logic chips, that work on 5V DC, and may others as well as other electronics too.. Most likely it would be beyond any economic repair?
However the only real way to tell is to use testing equipment to do this, also too a service manual would have to be obtained as well.
If one took the device to a service center and asked for a "Quote" as to cost and weather it's economically worthwhile to repair, wouldn't be a bad idea at least this way you would know for sure.

Either your DVD players Laser Pickup Unit is dirty or defective or its 'sled' motor has damaged. Sled motor is one, which spins the disc inside. if it does not spins, the main system IC won't get any signal that the disc is "IN", and will show the messege "No Disc". The same will happen if the laser pickup unit is defective or dirty. Insert a Head Cleaning Disc into the system, and play it for atleast 3 times. If there is any dirt or dust, this will solve your DVD's problem. If not, it should be serviced by any skilled technician. It is not a user reparable item, as you have to take out its loading mechanism completly out of it for repair. OK.

I think it is the problem of VGA card problem so please insert VGA card in PCI slot it will be sloved

I had this problem. I am aware that this thread is pretty old now but it may be useful for others who are looking forward solution. Try pressing the DVD AV OUT button on the remote, work on mine when I had a dim screen with no back light.

we have purchased logik portable dvd player in u.k last ferbruary. When we were using that we got some burning smell, so we unplugged everything. we need this logik company service center number in bangalore
