Can't Charge!! Here's the deal: One good day, my T610 stopped chargin' I didn't knew what the problem was, so I figured that the dust/dirt accumulated on the AC adaptor's entrance would be the problem, so I've cleaned it up nice and carefully (I didn't wanted to brick it up) and it turns out that after that, it charged again, It kept chargin' for months until yesterday, I figured that the same problem came back again, so I've cleaned it up again nice and carefully, but now It's not charging anymore!!! Charged a little and then Nothing! What this problem could be?? I definetly doubt that my battery has died, 'cause like I've said before, it started to charge previously and then It died slowly... Oh! By the way, when I plug the charger a red light turns on in the center of the phone, but the screen "charging" does not appear, and the charger keeps emitting this barely ear-receptive buzzing noise, it's a very poor buzzing noise, but I've just heard it today... hope you can help me! Thanx a lot.

Try another charger. I broke the plastic that locked into the phone on my car charger and had problems charging. The phone is very finicky about the contacts. Had to replace charger.

Why doesn't my tablet charge?

To charge any battery (also on iPhone) both negative and positive poles of the cable and battery need to connect. Check the inside hole of the lightning plug on your iPad while the device is turned off. Most of the time dust and dirt gets clogged in the small connector. This intrusion will inevitably be filled with dirt. Soo much that cable and battery don't connect to exchange current. Take a toothpick and gently check if any dust/garbage/paper/stuff is in there? The places were take our smartphone and tablet are filled with dust and small dirty particles. Like our shoes these mobile companions we wear every day gather dirt. Unclog the connector and try to charge it.

Can't move the shifter out of Park after starting engine on my 2000 Taurus. To drive the car, I have to stop the engine, turn the key slightly back, move shifter to Neutral and restart the engine. How...

This might sound strange, but check your stopping lights and make sure they're working. If I'm not mistaken, this model had a stop light "feature" that prevented the car from moving from the park position if required lights were blown out.

The other problem could be your pawl in the transmission. Sometimes, if you don't use your parking brake, a groove can shave into it. This is usually if you are often parking on an incline, in which you should use your parking brake to avoid pawl grinding.

I'm sure you checked for nobs or release buttons, but I figured I would mention it just in case. I know my car has one, but if you drive this car often...I'm sure you knew it was there to begin with.

Good luck!

Top of freezer and refrigerator stops working for a couple of days then starts working again

Clean all the dust and lint accumulation from under the unit, remove the condensation collection pan and clean it, and make sure the bottom fan is running.

I can't emphasize strongly enough how much of an enemy the accumulation of dirt and dust under a refrigerator can be its worst enemy. It can make the refrigerator exhibit symptoms of much more serious problems. Sometimes a good cleaning can have it operating like new with no real 'repairs' whatsoever.

You may end up having to call a repairman, but hey... This is a 'free' fix and if doesn't work, all you're out is your time. And you'd be surprised at the multitude of problems the accumulation of dirt and lint (or non-working fans) can cause.

Good Luck. Hope this helps.

Stopped playing discs

Leeann Have you tryed to clean the lens yet with a lens cleaning disc? If not invest in one as it may be your problem as dirt and dust does collect on the lens if its not used all that often or worse yet a film on the lens will stop it from reading the disc. Since you did already say you knew nothing about these things then thats where your troubleshooting stops, If it dosent correct the problem with a cleaning. Now its time to call JVC to see where the best and closest servicer are located Sorry couldnt help ya more But theres a limited amount a consumer can do these days as these units have no user serviceable parts inside and best to be done by a pro Good Luck.
