You need to locate the Cmos battery, not the jumpers, this is not a desktop.

Locate the Cmos battery, disconnect the battery for ten seconds, and Bios will reset to factory default.

2nd method: remove the laptop battery, and in back of your laptop 3 to 4 screws showing small keybord pictured or keyboard mark, remove those screw's, turn front and 3 little hidden clips upside of keyboard, slide down those clips, carefully remove the keyboard, in motherborad near touchpad, locate the small silver color coin battery, remove that battery for 1 minite or 2. and put it back. your password will reset. and also bios resets to factory setting.( before resetting just write down the setting on paper) best of luck keep smiling. aaarwind

I have a Hp ELitebook 6930p that has a BIOS password set and now i cant reset the password, How do i go about it???

Generally, there are two ways to reset forgotten BIOS password. One is forcing BIOS/CMOS to reset itself to its stored defaults by removing all power to it. The other is to use a program to either locate or identify the password and reveal it to you or erasing the password entirely.
HP Elitebook based on UEFI Bios provides a tool to reset BIOS password specially - HP SpareKey.

Give me password for compaq evo n600c

You can remove your bios password by reseting your CMOS battery or jamper. You need to open your notebook remove first the battery and all screw at the back of your notebook. You can see there a CMOS battery together with the CMOS jamper. Just read it you can read CLRSCR which means clear cmos, just pull it with in 10 seconds and insert it back. Now you are done to reset bios.

Cmos password reset

You can get around this however it's not to easy. You would have to take the unit apart and locate the BIOS chip, this chip needs to pulled out, aswell as removing the CR2032 battery which stores time and date on the computer. Leave both of these removed for a few minutes and re-install. This should wipe the password out. Like I said though it's not something that's easily done. Good Luck Hope this helps. L8R
