To empty the message box on a PNLC1040 phone, you can do the following:
Go to the messaging app on your phone.
Select the messages you want to delete by marking them.
Once you have selected all the messages, tap on the delete button or trash icon.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Repeat the process until the message box is empty. Note: You can also delete all messages at once by selecting the option to delete all messages in the messaging app.
Messages is an Apple app that can't be deleted. You should be able to search for it to use it, and if you're on iOS 7, it will tell you in which folder it is.
To search on iOS 6 or lower, slide the home screen to the right until the search appears. On iOS 7, from any home screen, slide your finger from the middle of the screen, down. The search will appear at the top.
Enter 'messages' into the search box. On iOS 7, if it's in a folder, the name of the folder will appear next to the Messages icon in the search results. You'll be able to move it back to the home screen in the usual manner (touch and hold until the app icons wiggle).
The errors often occur because changes in HOME's settings conflict with the XL340S. Resetting HOME to the default settings, which requires deleting specific folders from your computer, should clear up most error messages. When returning to the default settings doesn't resolve the error, the cause of the conflict is due to the software programming or how you are using the software. TomTom's support website has information on which folders you need to delete to reset the device, and information on resolving specific error messages when a reset doesn't work. how about a data sync cable?
On android, move a Icon/shortcut: press and hold the finger on the icon and drag it to where you want either on the same screen in a different spot or to another adjacent screen then lift finger. To delete an icon/shorcut, do the same as for moving the icon but this time drag it to the 'Trash bin' symbol at bottom line/middle position of the screen: the icon should turn Red and lifting yiour finger will delete it. It takes a bit of practice but it is quite easy and safe as you can always get the icon back from the application folder.
go to the mesage tab and click options then search for the option on the sim mesages and when it opens delete all the messages in the sim message box and check whether any messages in the outbox
Before writing to the developer, do the following if you haven't already:
Double click the home button (not while in the app), tap and hold the Words app and then delete it from there. This doesn't delete the app from your device, it just deletes it from the temporary memory. Tell your friends to do this too. If this doesn't solve your problem, restart all devices. Do this with holding down both the sleep and the home button until the apple icon appears with black background.
If nothing helps it's very likely to be bug which only the developer of the app can fix. Write a review or an email to him.
I' deleted all text messages. Now get "messaging initilizing" every time I try to create a new text message. Switching off and on again doesn't help. Neither does removing battery and sim card.
This is pretty simple. Go to the first menu on the left (from the home screen), tap on 'Messaging', then 'Text Message', then 'Inbox' or 'Sent' (whichever you want), tap on the little white icon with 3 white lines near the bottom right hand side of the screen. Next, scroll down to the bottom of the list that pops up. There will be an selection called '6 Delete Multiple'. Click on that. You can then choose which message(s) you would like to delete. From what you have asked, you seem to want to delete them all at once. To do this, tap the little box on the left of the the Title 'Sent' (this will highlight them all). Finally tap delete, confirm and YOU'RE DONE!
