Help! I just bought an ACER x223w monitor, and all my pics and vids are distorted. Text seems to be clear, but any picture on a website or my screeensaver, etc are all patchy and grainy! Already changed the screen resolution to 1680x1050 on my computer, which is the specs of the 22 inch monitor!

Hi, the display driver might have affected, so re install the display driver or update it from internet. If you have a cd with the pc namely motherboard, insert in the cd drive and run the drivers, all the necessaries driver will be updated.

It probably is not running the display at the native resolution, check the resolutions and try different ones till it looks good.

Desktop distortion of a Picture
you have to make sure that the picture you want to use as a background has similar resolution to that you are using in your actual display. for example if you are using 800x600 resolution you should have a picture close to that so it doesnt look distorted.

Acer x223W Monitor issue - not displaying correctly in native resolution
hi, when all connected press and hold the FN key on the bottom left of the keypad while pressing one of the function keys F1 to F12(the one with picture of a screen or monitor). You may need to press it more than once but if will eventually switch the display over to the tv
