Lost Remote I lost the remote to my Orion vcr..and I got a universal remote, but I can't get to the menu section of the vcr with the universal remote. Hence I can't set the clock and it is flashing 12:00 over and over again. I can't do any program recordings. I need your help badly..Please help!!!

1. turn on device
2. press setup (underneath on/off) till red light stays on the take finger off the button
3. press and quickly release device button (tv,vcr,etc.) the red indicator blinds off once
4. press the on/off button (up to 300 times) until the device is to be controlled turns off the red light blinks off with each button press
5. press and release enter to install code

Your Orion TV code is 0121,or 0135,or 0035. Your Orion code for DVD is 0394. Your Orion code for VCR is, 0256,or 0310. hope this was helpful

Go to WalMart, get a Universal Remote. Look on the package for your VCR type. If it's listed, buy it. Look in the manaul forthe Remote, how to program for your VCR, there are several different methods. You will NOT recover ALL the options your lost remote did. Only other choice is to write to the VCR company to get an original replacement.
