SOURCE: I need to set up a the tax department

If you have a tax rate programmed just enter
00000010071 press the @ key press the dept. key you want taxed and the CA/AT/NS key. All this is done in the PGM mode

The cash register adds the tax of the taxable item at the end, but my prices already include tax. How can I program it so then it just shows the tax percentage of the taxable items, instead of adding it....

Try changing the settings from Add on tax to Add in tax

The easiest way to do that appears to be to change it so each Department is set to non-taxable. Then after tax free day, you simply set them back to taxable. If you don't have the operating manual, use this link to get it...
