Magenta & Yellow lines

When I print I get random yellow and magenta lines on the page. Sometimes I can go 3 or 4 pages and not get any then suddenly I'll get 50 on 1 page. I've replaced both cartridges but the problem still persists. I've aligned, cleaned and been on the epsom troubleshooting website but still to no avail......

Thanks for the advice but I've decided to upgrade to a colour laserjet instead

When I print using my cannon LBP 5000, I get red and yellow lines down the page. I have used the cleaning option on print but it has not corrected the problem

Hello,If they are vertical lines then the most common reason for this is that containers for the waste toner of the magenta and yellow cartridges are full. This is not a common problem if you use original HP cartridges, but if you use compatible or refilled cartridges it happens. If you get the magenta and yellow cartridge out and look at the the green OPC drum you would see these 2 lines. You can carefully shake the cartridges 5-6 time HORIZONTALLY and the problem will probably disappear for a couple of pages. If this happens then you must replace the magenta and the yellow cartridges. Post back results here. Hope this helps

Hi Everytning I print has a very narrow pink line straight down the centre of the page, also every so often the print has a black/yellow/blue/pink thick line running across the page. Thanks

The narrow pink line is coming from your magenta toner/drum cartridge. You may be able to open the from cover and look at the 4 toners. If you look at the magenta (like pink) cartridge, you might see the thin line on the drum surface.
The multicolored band that sometimes shows up on your prints is most likely the transfer belt unit. This is caused by an area of the belt that is not being cleaned very well. This probably tends to show up when you are running mutilple prints of a page.
So it looks like to may need to replace your magenta toner and look at getting a transfer belt unit.

I have a bizhub C450 and i am getting a yellow line at the top of my printed page and also 2 pink/red dots in the middle of the page. How can i stop this?

The yellow and magenta image units may be the problem. Yellow may have worn out on one end causing the yellow line. If the pink dots show up on every page but move around from page to page, there may be damage to the magenta image unit. You can remove the image units from the machine and look at the drums (long green cylinders), this should be shiny and clean. If not, you may need to replace.

Canon Pixma yellow color problem

Either the ink you are using is not going to give the color you want, or you have print heads that are blocked.

The color on my photo prints has suddenly turned much too blue and looks pretty bad. Is this the ink for some reason?

1. Thy cleaning, test page, check Magenta and Yellow ink levels, try changing Yellow and Magenta and make sure they are OEM (Brother Genuine)

Hope that works, if not write me back before leaving feedback
