Try plugging it into your car with the AC Adapter. I just bought one too and had a problem getting it to do anything until I charged the battery and then everything worked great. Hope it works out for you.
Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer?s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.
I PLUGGED IN MY MP3 PLAYER TO THE COMPUTER AND THE SCREEN ON MY MP3 PLAYER LIGHTS UP BUT the normal screen image for when you normally plug it into the computer ISN'T THERE AND I CAN'T ADD MUSIC ON MY MP3 PLAYER.
In my manual it says to charge it for five hours for the first time.After that you can check the charge
that it has by touching the battery icon on the menu screen.
