Videos will not convert

I have no problems with my Zen Vision so far except from the fact the it will not convert videos. Some videos that do not need converting, tranfer across fine. However, when a file requires conversion, it goes to a different screen to convert the file. I use the default settings. Once it tries to convert it after literally less than 30 seconds it states that conversion was unsuccessful. It does this with every single video that needs converting. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and what i need to do to resolve this. Can anyone help? (The files which I tranfer are all .avi files with some .wma files. Some of the .avi and .wma files do not need converting and tranfer across okay so i don't think it's the file type that's the problem.)

How do I download a DVD I own onto my Creative Zen Vision: M? I have tried several times without success.

There are many products that can convert video into the proper format and some can be easy to use. The best free software I have found is AutoGK.

http://www.autogk.me.uk/modules.php?name=Downloads

There are presets available using the interface, and it can be a bit complicated when you are viewing the raw VOB files on the DVD, but for free quality its my favorite.

For purchasable software I recommend Cucusoft Ultimate DVD + Converter Suite, Its easy to use and does a great job.

You can manually drop your properly coded videos into your Creative Zen Vision M video folder by opening/browsing your zen with windows explorer. Specifications for what video format you need can be found here.

Cant get videos on my Creative Zen Mozaic 4gb

The videos have to be converted using Creative Centrale in order to placed on the player. This was the same way with a lot of Creative's Zen line of players also.
If you don't have the copy that the Mosaic came with, you can download it here.
http://support.creative.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?catID=213&CatName=MP3+Players&subCatID=214&subCatName=ZEN&prodID=17897&prodName=ZEN+Mozaic

It is under the "Applications" section.

Creative zen m vision

Hi Gabrielgrima.
This problem is because of the format of the Video File.
If you want to put videos on your Creative Zen Microphoto.
You will first have to convert it using Video Converter and you will have to get it into the correct file type that your MP3 Player Supports
Hope this helped.

"Video exceeds playback capability of the player"

That could be that you have AC3 sound in that videofile. Use Mediaencoder and encode to MP3 format.

Zen Vision:M videos out of sync..EVERYTIME!

ZVM cannot handle the AC3 audio so the AVI files need to have mp3 audio. I have a lot of videos that I have converted over the years that I want to play on the ZVM. In order to check compatibility I have been using gspot. I just open the program, drag and drop the file, and get all the details I need in about 5 seconds.
