hi! this is shiharan.i am repairing a philips20PT,crt type tv.the problem is that only the lower half(vertical) portion of the picture tube lights up to display pictures.after taking off the back cover i am not been able to locate the horizontal,vertical driver IC.Perhaps the driver section is built arround FET.Please help me.. hi! Same problem where the picture height reduces to 1" after 30 minutes with a CT-33AC2SL Diva. Have not been able to get a datasheet on what I suspect is the main IC driving the video. Can't spot any cold solder joints with a magi-lamp, can't spot any leaking electrolytic capacitors. There are too many capacitors to change and hope you get the right one. The IC I'm trying to source the datasheet is a Toshiba TA8719AN but Toshiba say its obselete and haven't got a copy. If a copy is available hopefully this will lead to the right capacitor to be replaced
