Recorder fell from kitchen table on tiles - everything ( radio/tapes
) still worked after that fall - all was fine, except the button for
recording ( the button with the red dot ) it resists to get pressed
down.
It moves like 1 millimeter or so down along with the tape play button when I attempt to press the recording button down
I also can see the millimeter down movement behind the open tape lit,
the whole metal mechanism goes down 1 millimeter along with the attempt
pressing the recording button down -
So I can't record, can't get the recording button down into the
" click in - stay - record position "
So no recording is possible any longer.
Oh, I see, you're talking about a cassette player, You are in the wrong section if that's what you're talking about. If thats the case, then the impact of the fall must have jammed it . and you may have to go in and correct it by freeing it up
1. PlayStation 2 systems do not handle tapes, but CDs and DVDs. No wonder you have broken it if you inserted a tape in it.
2. There is no radio in a PlayStation 2 system.
3. On a PlayStation 2 system, the button with a red dot on it is the power button, and it turns green when the power is on.
4. You cannot record, especially not on tapes, with a PlayStation 2 system.
5. You usually don't play a PlayStation 2 in the kitchen, but in the living room since it's meant to be plugged in your TV.
Here's the diagnostic : you do not own a PlayStation 2 system.
You have been ripped off by whoever sold you this piece of **** under the name of "PlayStation 2 system".
