First, check the door switch. When you push and release it you should hear a click. If no sound is heard, replace the door switch with this part.
If the switch is good, then the thermal fuse is bad. Here is that part.

hi thanks for the question when your dryer stopped and you tried to restart if no noise the over load thermostat embedded in motor is suppose to open and not allow it to start then the motor cools down now it works till the motor over heats again and shuts off again. i would vacuum out the inside clean motor and check the venting right to the outside and try it again but remember do this with power off thanks the appliance doc

You need to replace the thermal fuse and the timer. A bad timer will over draw a thermal fuse and cause it to blow.
Please remember to unplug the dryer before servicing

Hi, If the dryer heats but will not advance in either time or auto cycles, you need to change the timer.
You can test to see if the timer is getting voltage. Remove the top rear panel and locate the two wires going to the timer motor. There should be 120V when the dryer is running in time dry.

The belt can be replaced as follows.
1 remove top and front of dryer shell
2 belt goes around drum around motor pully then under tentioner wheel
3 replace front and top of dryer
(top pops off use a slotted screw driver)
