G'day,
All of the documentation on the westnet.com.au site shows that your "Outgoing mail server" should be set to "mail.westnet.com.au", not "mail.wn.com.au". Please check both of your accounts in Windows Live.
If this doesn't fix your proble, could you please repost the settings for your two accounts so that I can compare them?

Most online audio makes use of Adobe Flash, did you check that?
Best is to download and install the latest version of Flash to make sure.
Installing the latest version of DirectX for Windows XP can also help (9.0c).
Please also check for further suggestions about fixing sound problems in Windows XP.

I have checked the alsa settings for the silly things like "mute" and volume and that all seems OK :-)
Also where will I see any reply to this question ? will it be on my Facebook wall & if not how do I navigate back to this site so I can see any reply ?
Please just ignore that last comment...??!! If I could see a DELETE button I would apply it...sorry
Jose...thanks for the reply but that's a windows driver even though the title says-linux so how do I dpkg that ?
Also there is no download button on that page for the linux driver...it's another BS page full of advertising that gets you nowhere unless you have windows installed
