I left Wii plugged in overnight. Next day, no sound on my tv for watching shows, etc. But when I plug in my game consoles, I get sound for them so I know the sound is working. Why can't I hear it when I watch television shows?

It has always amazed me how many "F" connectors get pulled out of tuners. I know because I've replaced hundreds, usually successfully, saving the cost of a new tuner. You need to unsolder the tuner from the board and remove the side cases. If the tuner board is not damaged beyond repair, (if it is you have to get creative), a new unit can be soldered in place. Put everything back together and you will be in buisness. New "F" connectors can be purchased from MCM Electronics at www.mcminone.com, part #215543 for $2.50. I always use a new connector as the old ones are usually trashed. Reliability is compromised if you don't use a new one. Technically you do not need the cable hookup since you have composite inputs. For my money I would just hookup a VCR (with a tuner) coming out of the VCR composite jacks into the TV composite jacks and use the tuner on the VCR leaving the TV in Aux, or whatever they call the composite inputs, and call it a day. It's you're choice but using a VCR tuner is faster, easier, cheaper and if you want to play a VHS tape you're already hooked up! If you are a traditionalist and want the TV 100% remember to be safe while working on it. Good luck whichever way you go.

Do a google search for "emerson remotes" (in quotes) and take your pick. I have ordered them by model number from Fox International at 800-321-6993.

Hi,
I'm sure you know you need the original remote if there is no menu on the front of the set. I suggest doing a search for customer support online for Sanyo products. There you will find contact numbers to see if one is available. Try "Sanyo remotes" on Google or Yahoo etc. Hope this helps

You can buy an rf modulator ( very cheap) and connect your dvd player, game console etc) to the modulator then connect the modulator to your antenna with a coax cable. This worked for me. It placed the connection to channel 4 and other cable channels are still working,
You can buy the RF Modulator from: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180299245670

The Wii console should have included a cable to plug into the AV Multi-out Connector. This cable has the plug for the Wii on one end, and three RCA plugs on the other. They are color-coded yellow for the video output, and red and white for right and left channel audio outputs. These plugs would go into the corresponding RCA input jacks on your TV (if it has them), and you would select that input using the TV remote or front panel buttons.
If your TV doesn't have A/V inputs, you need to get an RF converter. This device takes the A/V signals from the Wii and converts it to a signal on channel 3 or 4 so you can tune it in on your TV. These cost around $15 at Wal-Mart and other retailers.
If you have lost your Wii connecting cable or didn't get one, you can order replacements from online vendors.
