Tempature on fridge won't stay @ 38

Just in the last couple of days our tempature on the fridge screen says 45 degrees. I keep pushing power cool to cool it back down and when I push the temp button it says 38..then it goes right back to 45. This morning when I woke up it was down to 38..then within an hour it was back up to 45. Also water sometimes leaks out of the bottom refridgerator side? Thanks.

Hi I have a GE model# DSS25KGRE BB fridge. The fridge runs constantly, meaning it cools until the coils get all frosted up. then the defrost heater kicks on and 'thaws' the coils. I have tried

OK, first check the condenser coils and fan to be sure they are free of lint and dirt buildup. Dirty coils will keep the unit from cooling correctly and the unit will run endlessly. Post back the results to me and we will take it from there.

Hi there

Samsung's child lock is easy to alter

Press the vacation and fridge temp buttons simultaneously and hold for 4 seconds, this will release the child lock, to reinstate the lock just repeat this. 4 seconds is quite a long time.

Hope this helps

I'm not sure what the problem may be but you could try calling All Seasons RV Appliance Parts & Service. There number is 1-800-344-0673 they have helped me in the past. That and there tech calls are free so it wouldn't hurt to give them a call.

Fridge cooling 54 degrees - freezer 38 degrees and 24 degrees

Will not be the defrost timer as they have a set cycle independant of the normal cycle...unless your fridge is eletronic. Did you stand the fridge up when shifting?

The refrigerator side is not cooling.

ALMOST DEFINATELY YOU WILL HAVE AN ELECTRONIC CONTROLLED AUGER(MOTOR)CONTROLLING THE AMOUNT OF CHILL ENTERING THE FRIDGE COMPARTMENT. IF YOU SET THE FRIDGE TO MINIMUM AND LISTEN CAREFULLY, THERE SHOULD BE A SOUND INDICATING THE AUGER IS WORKING.( OPENING AND CLOSING THE FLAP). SET TEMP. TO MAX AND LISTEN. IF NOTHING, IT COULS BE A DEFECTIVE MOTOR OR FAULTY THERMISTOR(TEMP. PROBE).
