Video format for power acoustik pd 710

It wont play my videos on my sd card it says wrong format but the are mp4

No the format is an mp4 it's Avi the codec has to be Xvid size 640x480 was having same problem with mine now videos work good all you need to do is download http://www.wisevideosuite.com/wisevideoconverter.html. I found a free version of it on cnet.com

No, I think there is no need. Whether you got sd cards or other, you can use this car video recorder,do not need to consider fomat.

SD card reading

usually means the sd card is corrupted, if its new you may have a fake sd card. ie you buy a 32gb type and its only an 8gb sd card been flash formatted to read it as a 32gb everything past the 8gb will be corrupted. if this is not the case and not new it will be a wan out sd card this can happen if they overheat and its use.

sometimes you have to format the songs and then put them on the sd card but if you allready did that your sd card might be junk and make sure the sd card you bought is for music some arent

Sometimes the downlodad file format wont support the the file fornat of the phone .If u are using the micro sd card fo the first time the format the card . otherwise it may have this problem.

Try Downloading Quicktime to your PC. Its free and it plays 3GP(Mobile Phone) and MP4. Which is probably the format your phone is saving the videos in.

Power Acoustik PTID-4007

Ignore the above comment... SD cards and USB play fine on there (i have one).
Mine does the same, but leave it for 5-10 seconds after it says close and it loads it up!
