Most universal remotes don't have the screen mode button. So, your better off with the orginal remote for the TV.
The cheapest place I can find one for you is NewRemoteControl.com
It's going for $49.95
It's a little pricey, but it will have all the option buttons for the TV.

I hope I answered your question. Please rate me. :)

SOURCE: how to access the inside of flm-2601

First- unplug it, Second- remove the back( can be tricky), Third- follow the AC cord to the power supply board and your there. Look for any Caps that may be bulged and replace them. Sometimes caps can be bad and look ok. Let ame know how you do>

    None working Polariod FLM 2601.

    Hmm,
Might be a bad connection inside set, but might want to get the obvious stuff out of the way first.
    1. Verify outlet is working by plugging something else into it.
    2. Make sure the ac cord is pushed in all the way into tv. Might not be making good contact.
    3. Double check to make sure tv doesn't have a power on/off switch. Some TVs have a power button and also a power switch somewhere on the bottom or back of set that might've been flipped off if there is one.

    Polaroid FLM-2601 Power

First off replacing the caps is not easy even for a tech. Double surface boards are soldered on both sides. The caps have a value printed on them like 1000@63 They also have polarity " they have to be put in in a certain direction" If you do something wrong you blow the works. Best to have it done by a tech.

Your only solution is to change the sound to mono. Eventually the power supply will go and the tv won't work.
